Even though the people behind We Are Wonder are great web designers themself they asked us for help with their new website because they schedule was fully booked. During covid, the idea of live streaming, was something that became a household thing for many people, businesses and organizations. Therefore We Are Wonder, didn't had the time to sit down and create a new website.
Therefor they reached out to us and asked if we could pitch a new design and develop it afterwards. And of course that was something we were interested in. We took a look a their existing design manual, which had a lot of good elements, and then pitched them a simple and clean overhaul of their existing site. Knowing the people at We Are Wonder beforehand, made the proces a bit easier because we knew what kind of design and style they preferred. So when we pitched the design, there were only a few minor changes.
One of the requests from We Are Wonder, was that we used Wordpress as the CMS system for the website. Because of that I hired in my former colleague, Christian Severin(https://severincreatives.dk/), to help with the development. Normally we at B31 make most of our website using Webflow as the CMS, but because We Are Wonder, had a lot of experience working with Wordpress, we agreed that Wordpress would be the best platform to use. Especially because it also enabled the people at We Are Wonder to update and expand their new website later on.
